Step1. Attach Downspout outlet locator to the bottom of the Strainer basket
 

Step 2. Attach Strainer handle to the Strainer basket

3. Installation

Step 1. Attach Pole hook attachment to your ArloCatcher Security camera catcher or ArloCatcher Gutter cleaning nozzle.

Step 2. Send the gutter strainer to the gutter, aiming the junction of the gutter and the downspout.

* Make sure set the handle stop on back, toward the siding. Lower the strainer and let the downspout outlet locator fall into the downspout outlet.

 * Make sure set the handle stop on back, toward the siding. Retrieve the pole hook and let the Strainer handle lean on the gutter edge.

 

* The raised tip of the pole hook attachment serves two key functions:

（1） When loading the gutter strainer onto the pole hook, the long extension pole is held horizontally. At this angle, the curved hook alone cannot securely hold the gutter strainer. By rotating the extension pole, the raised tip prevents the gutter strainer from slipping off. As you gradually lift the pole into a more vertical position, continue to rotate the pole slowly—this allows the gutter strainer to slide into the hook, completing the task of sending the gutter strainer into the gutter.

（2）When retrieving the gutter strainer from the gutter using the pole hook attachment, the raised tip acts like a sight or guide, helping the user aim more accurately from a distance. It allows the user to align the hook with the hook receiveron the gutter strainer and insert it more easily.
